About Me

Hi!

I promised myself I would keep this as short as I could, but I probably won't. I never do.

First things first, you should know that I tend to ramble on  a lot. It's sad but it's true. I get sidetracked often, easily and then suddenly hop right back to where I should be. You may experience mental whiplash whilst reading this blog. The owner cannot be held responsible for this as customary warnings have been given. Hehe.

What else? Oh yes! Clearly, it's a book blog. I don't give the best reviews, and how I write also isn't the freakin' best. But I am honest. I won't lie, I won't sugar coat anything either. That said, I'm nice. Scout's honor. Or should that be Brownies? I have no idea, I don't think we even have those here in the UK. (See what I meant about going off topic?)

MmHm. So I'm honest and nice. I won't write a bitchy review, I won't even state every minuscule negative thing about a book. I don't see the point. If the writing could be better, say it. If the story could have gone further, say that too. I don't understand there people who give books 1 star ratings and write god awful remarks.

I know! I also swear. A lot. I get told off for this, but I really cannot help it. I see it as, dude, if you're reading a book that puts a sailor to shame, then don't get all offended when I drop fuck and shit and any other word that slips in there. You have been warned! Again.

What else should I let you all know? **Puts thinking cap on**

Books I prefer. That's a good idea. I have to admit, I prefer not to read about love triangles. There are a few that I have read, totally loved and I have recommended to everyone I know. But! I have only read them once. I can't deal with that sort of pain. I hate it. Say the girls with guy number 1, and he's a dick, and guy number 2 shows her hearts and flowers and they live happily ever after while guy number 1 lives the sad lonely life he deserves, I can deal with that. What I can't deal with is when the girl goes back and forth between two amazing, yet totally different, guys. What the fuck is all that about? Some may disagree with me here, but hey, personal opinions and all that. I love a happy ending, but despise cliff hangers. I refuse to read a book that has a cliff hanger unless the sequel is out. And if it's a series with cliff hangers all the way through? Fuck that, I'll usually wait until they're all out and devour them together.

I've come along way with what I like to read. I still read YA, I don't care how old I am. Some YA is amazing. Huh, what else?... I love biker reads. I am obsessed with Alphas. True story. I am all about Alpha books. My favorite author has to be Kristen Ashley, each and every single one of her guys are just, oh man. I can't explain them.

Back to the bikers. I have a love/hate thing going on with them. I love their passion, hate some of their..rules? Ways of thinking? They cause pain and ignite passion all at once. It's not pretty when I read those. I find myself hating the main guy for most of it, then falling for the fucker in the end. Bipolar? Probably.

Let's recap shall we? I swear, I write random shit, I love Alphas and hate love triangles and cliff hangers. Biker dudes are a whole new topic of conversation right now. Yup. I'm good so far.

I love hearing recommendations, and love speaking to others about what pissed me off about a particular book. This blog, this is my way of expressing every thought about what I read. It's therapy. It keeps me sane. It also keeps my family happy because they don't hear me complaining to them constantly about a guy who isn't technically real. hehe.

I think that pretty much sums it up! Have a look around, comment, recommend and you can follow me on:
